I first sharred this tribute to Sara on the day she passed 8-7-15 on facebook.
About 17 years ago, a very beautiful woman turned to me at church and flashed me a beautiful smile. Little did I know then, that, less than a year later she would become sweet bride! Today I lost my bride and best friend Sara Louise Glenn. She had a short battle with a very aggressive cancer that eventually took her away from us.
Throughout her battle she remained strong and was without blame. I once her say "well...good things happen to good people and bad things happen to good people, good things happen bad people, and bad things happen to bad people". She never blamed anyone for her medical battles! I am so very proud of her!
I will forever miss her smile, but I am full of the memories of the greatest gift God has ever given me! A kind hearted, sweet, caring, gentile, loving, wife who brought so much joy and peace to friends and family and me. I feel very privileged to have her hand in marriage and in life! She also brought me two amazing daughters and two wonderful grand children!
As a Seventh Day Adventist I look forward the Jesus return...
First Thessalonians 4:13-18 reads:
13 But I do not want you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning those who have fallen asleep, lest you sorrow as others who have no hope. 14 For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so God will bring with Him those who sleep in Jesus.
15 For this we say to you by the word of the Lord, that we who are alive and remain until the coming of the Lord will by no means precede those who are asleep. 16 For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. 17 Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord. 18 Therefore comfort one another with these words.
